The main objective would be to identify developmental anomalies relating to people and environment, to investigate them and convert these challenges and hazards to entrepreneurial solutions reimagining a clean green sustainably developed environment which also eventually demolishes disparities noticed among societies. Hence we find that crucial social challenges are turned into entrepreneurial opportunities. This enables the emerging leader to develop their skills and potentials by investing their strengths into developing need-based pragmatic and people centric entrepreneurial projects that serve the cause of people and planet holistic development; and thereby become a ‘leader by serving’ – fail-proof leadership! Practical field experience happens through Joy Street Management for getting hands-on experience and to initiate their own programs in their street locations and spheres of interest.

College students and young adults will be inspired and mentored to be equipped to focus on the socio civic needs of a society in 2 kms radius around their college and living spaces. While becoming aware to the needs of a society they also realize that the preservation and enhancing of all living and nonliving things leads to creation of a high quality life. Young people who are aspiring to become entrepreneurs become ‘Joypreneurs’ will address such needs not only entrepreneurially but also with a caring heart to joyfully build and profit through sustainable solutions for the flourishing of the planet and its people.

The center of excellence is created by this department is Institute of Civic Entrepreneurship. Many projects are undertaken through Joy Street Management to embark and empower local grassroot entrepreneurship to promote holistic local economy and national economy.
